PRIMARY EDUCATION:
Nyamogo Primary School (1978-1985), Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (K.C.P.E); scored 63/72 points.

SECONDARY EDUCATION:
Mbita High School (1986-1989), Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (K.C.S.E); scored 90/120 points (Grade B Plain).

POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION:
  • University of Nairobi (1990-1995), Bachelor of Science degree (Second-class honors -upper division) awarded.
  • University of Nairobi (October 1996 – Nov. 2001) with a break between February1999- November 2000), Masters of Science (MSc - Physics) degree awarded. MSc study done by a combination of taught courses (year I) and research in year II.
  • Year II thesis was entitled: Effects of corchorus olitorius derived binder on functional properties and thermal shock resistance of a Kaolinite refractory.

Traveling, reading, photography, programming and watching football.
