Falko Ueckerdt, a Berlin-Nairobi Exchange participant in Nairobi in 2003/04, was interviewed during his time in Nairobi by reporter Stef Ehlert. The interview was broadcast on the German radio station Deutsche Welle as part of the "Campus Global" series on 12 July 2004. In the interview, Mr. Ueckerdt talks about his physics studies and life in Kenya in general.

Falko Ueckerdt and Marko Förstel, Berlin-Nairobi Exchange participants in Nairobi in 2003/04, presented the Berlin-Nairobi Exchange at a workshop in Nairobi in March 2004. The workshop was jointly organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Their presentation lead to the current partnership between JKUAT and the Berlin-Nairobi Exchange. A two-page summary of the Berlin-Nairobi Exchange was published in the workshop proceedings.
